Welcome to October, my lovelies! I am so excited to finally start a new month, especially this one!
Fall has become my favorite season over the past few years (it used to be summer, but shh don’t tell summer that I’ve moved on haha), and October officially starts it for me. I know the first day of Fall was technically September 22nd this year, but it doesn’t really count in my mind. Especially since we’re still experiencing summer-like heat down in good ol’ North Carolina. I don’t know if any of you guys are from the south, but if you are then you’ll understand the struggle.
We still haven’t reached the fall weather that I crave so much around this time of year, but I’m excited nonetheless.
Boots, sweaters, and pumpkins, oh my!
There are so many exciting things that come about during this time of the year!
Not to mention Halloween. I mean who doesn’t love a holiday where it’s socially acceptable to pretend to be someone else for a day, and get candy while you’re at it. Don’t worry, I am fully aware of my age, but that’s not stopping me from dressing up and getting some candy.
Anyway, enough about my extreme excitement for this month. There’ll be plenty more where that came from in November and December. 😉
Today, I wanted to share some of my favorites with you guys! I want to say thank you to the lovely Rachel of Rachel.WTF. She has an amazing blog (which you should definitely check out if you haven’t already) that features a Top 5 series, which has inspired this post.
I know October just started, but these are a few things I’ve become obsessed with over the past week or so that are continuing into this month, so without further ado, my October favorites (so far).
Favorite TV Show
I don’t know if you guys have seen this or not, but it is truly amazing. It’s on Netflix and it’s based off of Alfred Hitchcock’s movie, Psycho. I have to warn you though that only 4 out of the 5 seasons are currently on Netflix, so if you’re looking to binge watch, such as I’m doing, then I recommend pacing yourself. My mom and I have watched 4 seasons in less than a week. Whoops. Haha.
I bought Harry Syles’ self titled album a few weeks ago, and it is beautiful. I was a huuge fan of One Direction, so it came as no surprise that I loved this album.
This movie is over 10 years old, but I watched it for like 2 weeks straight, and I remembered how much I love it.
LIFEWTR Purified Water
I don’t usually buy into “fancy water,” but I have to say this stuff is awesome. It’s got electrolytes and whatnot, tastes pretty good, and it comes in pretty bottles. 🙂
Till next time, my lovelies
